Patches for Alpine Terms of Service

In what follows (the "Terms") we will talk about your rights and responsibilities when you visit the "Patches for Alpine" (" this site") web site.

The material in this site includes code, packaged or in the form of patches, and precompiled versions of Alpine. It also includes help and documentation for Pine and Alpine, and links to a RSS feed for Alpine. In some instances this site is used to share information with users (in the form of a special download link). This site also contains a copy of some of the content of the University of Washington's original Alpine site.

This site can be used without registration in any service.

All code can be downloaded free of charge, but depending on the page you visit in this site are the rights that apply to it. Code that is distributed as releases of Alpine is placed in a git repository ("the repository") at http://repo.or.cz/alpine.git, and is distributed under the Apache License 2.0. Code that is not placed in the repository can be downloaded, and compiled in the source code of Alpine only for personal use, and may not be redistributed without previous permission for the owner of this site.

You may use all the documentation in this site free of charge and you may redistribute such documentation without permission.

You may contribute to this site, by sumitting code for Alpine, or corrections or improvements to the documentation. Your name will be referenced in such case, and it may be referenced either in the log of changes, the source code, or in this site. You may also remain anonymous. You may also submit code under your license, and if accepted, a note will be added to explain how to contact you, for those wishing to use your code.

This site does not track you in any way. In particular, it does not set any cookies on you.

These terms will continue to apply until ended by you or the owners of this site. We may terminate your right to use this site for any reason.

By using this site you agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the owners of this site, contributors and licensors, from and against any and all third party claims and expenses, including attorney's fees, arising out of or related to your use of this set (including, but not limited to, from your submissions or from your violation of any of these terms.)

All information provided in this site is provided "as is" and might not suit your purpose for its use. The owners of this site disclaim of warranties, express or implied.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. These terms will always be accessible online. Announcement of updates will be made through this site and the RSS feed in this site.
