Fix a bug which makes Pine strip text when replying to a message with full headers mode on
</title>
<description>
This patch fixes a bug which may make Pine not to strip the signature of
a message when such message is viewed in full headers mode on. The normal
behavior is that Pine will strip signatures if a signature separator is found,
but in case that the message is viewed under full headers, this step
is skipped. Bug reported by Guido Ostkamp in comp.mail.pine.

Update to fillpara patch due to crash
</title>
<description>
A crash was found in the fillpara patch, which is produced when too many
are listed in the To: headers. In this case Pine tries to access data in
an array for which it has not allocated memory, producing the
crash. Reported by Bernhard Kaindl of SuSE.

Added a new patch for fixing a bug that makes Pine send flowed text even
when not requested
</title>
<description>
This patch was submitted by Alexey Toptygin, and fixes a bug that makes
Pine send flowed text even when pressing ^V to turn off flowing text
before sending a message. Without this patch the only way to get an
unflowed message is to enable [X] quell-flowed-text.

A PC-Pine tip sent by Michael Hoffman
</title>
<description>
A tip for using PC-Pine in a multiuser environment by Michael Hoffman.

Set HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\University of Washington\PC-Pine\4.0 to be
something like "%AppData%\PC-Pine" replacing %AppData% with what is actually
in your %AppData% environment variable. For me this is "C:\Documents and
Settings\Michael\Application Data".

In Control Panel > System > Advanced > Environment Variables, set
USER_DICTIONARY to "%AppData%\PC-Pine\User Dictionary.txt". Again, you must
replace %AppData% with its actual value or this will not work.

Patches for Pine are going away
</title>
<description>
The Department of Mathematics of the University of Washington will close the
account that hosts my Patches for Pine site. I would like to thank the
Department of Mathematics for having hosted this site for so
many years. I do not have current plans to move this site, but this
site will disappear on December 15, 2006. Thank you to everyone who supported
me by positive feedback and encouragement to do this work through the years.
I will update this information as it becomes available.
