Decode folder names that contain 8 bit characters
Patch is available for version: alpine 2.00 alpine 2.01 When a folder contains 8 bit characters, an IMAP server encodes its name in a modified UTF-7 encoding defined in RFC 3501. However, when Alpine lists such folders their names are not decoded, which makes folder names appear in non-human readable language. This patch decodes those names and present folder names in a human readable form. |
